I CAN WALK!

I HAVE BEEN HEALED!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST KIDDING!!!!!! WEll, this has been an interesting week. Ive been taking it easy for the past week. And its driving me crazy because there is SO much work to do. But I officially tore the two weakest ligaments in my ankle so i'll be wearing my air cast for another 5 weeks. The names are really long and I can't pronounce them... so I just tell everyone I have LIGAMENTITOUS! and I'm also wearing an amish like long skirt.... so they don't ask questions. hah.
Last night I hosted the Night of Music and Inspiration and it went really well. There is a TON of TALENT amoung the Elders and Sisters here so pretty much everyone performing was good. We got a croud of about 80 becuase it was raining... ( no one does anything in DC when it rains) so I was satisfied. All my recent converts ( the poeple that got baptized) showed up to support me so it was fun to visit with them.
And the two of my favorite girls... Katina and Lynna showed up at the VC with a get well gift and giant balloon attached to my wheelchair for me to roll around with and them to laugh. GOOD TIMES! We have a few new investigators that we were blessed with this week. Stephanie, Louis and Yizhe ( YEE-ju.. I guess) from China.... so we are excited to work with them. I got to walk around a little bit in our area yesterday and we were walking around campus.... ( it only took me 2 hours to go a few blocks and back - haha!) and I was a little frustrated... more so for my poor companion who has to walk slow with me and wait on me hand and foot this week. .... but everywhere we went, I saw other college students with crutches and air casts..... I saw about 5 of them in one hour :)..... SO of course I struck up convos with them to see how they messed up their ankle. my story was the best... But I think it was Heavenly Fathers way of cheering me up and saying .. " YOU CAN DO ITTTTTTT".. Precious... I KNOW....
ALL MY FRIENDS ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!! AHHHH... SO COOL.... but I am so grateful that I am here in DC.... believe me!!.
I am learning so much about poeple. And no matter how different we are... culture... background.... we all have the same needs.... and I love what I do because I get to teach people how to work out their problems and how happy they can truely be through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.... THATS WHY I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!! ITS TRUE! I love the BIBLE AND THE BOOK OF MORMON!!!!I know they are true... they continue to help me and change my life!!! Thanks for all your support and love! I miss you!
