HEY FAMILIA!
This has been a week.... So funny story about Tamera (whose child was missing)... guess what.... Shes missing too.. we have gone just about every day to her house this week and called her ( knowing people were home) and she hasn't answered us back. Vanished... so I hope all was well with her.I guess we gave her the comfort she needed.. and that was it. haha. Weird!.
We did some service this week for a less active lady in the ward. OH MY,am I grateful for a Mother that was clean and taught us how to work! We barely even made a dent in the corner of her living room... Sister Frost and I really should have gone in there with masks and flame throwers to kill / disinfect everything.. I killed more black widow spiders in 2 hours then I've ever seen before in my entire life. My favorite part was all of her children who just sat there and watched us clean up their mess.... as I politely threw away their stuff when they weren't looking.. They didn't even know they had it anyway because you couldn't see the floor. so TOO BAD!
We also stopped to check on this house and found the house that John Booth ( I think thats his first name..) hid out after he shot Abraham Lincon. kind of cool I guess.
Our investigator Michelle has a baptism date now for september 6th! So we are excited for her to work towards that. Alot is going on in her life and because of the economy. She has nine other family members living in her house with her husband and 3 kids so she's kind of going crazy right now. Other then that we are trying to find more people to teach and getting to know the members better. I had snow crab for the fist time for dinner which pretty much consisted of Sister Frost and I playing with the legs of the crab and trying to figure out the best way to rip its legs apart to actually EAT the dinner. Good times... But all is going well. I am getting use to country folk with no teeth and the fact that everyone goes to Chick Fil-A here because of the FRIED CHICKEN! I love you all. have a great week!
